A Christmas tree on a Christmas tree

This is a super easy handmade Christmas tree ornament! It is bright and colorful and everyone in the family can make their own version of a mini Christmas tree.
You will need:
- wood craft sticks
- tempera or acrylic paint and a brush
- a glue gun
- a pipe cleaner
- sparkly foil decoration or anything else you’d like to use for decorating
- scissors
Let’s start with choosing three sticks and glueing them together to make a triangle.

This triangle is your future Christmas tree. Let the glue get dry and color the triangle green using tempera or acrylic paint and a brush.
While the paint is drying, you can make a star tree topper. You will need to fold a pipe cleaner to make a zigzag, and then adjust the zigzag to a start.

After the start is done, use the glue gun to glue it to one of the corners of your triangle.

Now, let’s add some sparking fun! You can use any available sparkling supplies you have at home. I simply cut sparkly foil decoration to a desired length and glued it to the back of the star.

Voila! Your Christmas tree decoration is ready! I used a green colored paper clip to make a hook and put it on the real Christmas tree.

Enjoy! And have fun decorating!
